PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

HYDROGEOLOGIST/PROJECT MANAGER 2005 - Present: Clean Soils Environmental, Ltd. Management of all of Clean Soils Environmental projects involving the release of oil and hazardous materials governed by the Massachusetts Contingency Plan or 310 CMR 40.0000.    He has over fourteen years experience supervising every phase of site assessment and remediation projects and another four years experience in the areas of land surveying and septic system design. In order to help clients make the best business decisions in management of their property or business, Mr. Landry uses his extensive knowledge of state and federal regulations to educate and guide clients through the maze of necessary site assessment activities and sometimes remediation options. One of Mr. Landry’s goals is to listen to the client as to what the reason(s) are for environmental services, outline a course of action, and discuss the possible outcomes as a result of each action or phase of work. Mr. Landry’s responsibilities at Clean Soils Environmental consist of: client and regulatory agency meetings, site specific proposal preparation, report preparation to clients and assistance to the LSP in preparing submittals to the DEP for MCP response actions (e.g., Immediate Response Action Plans, Release Abatement Measures, Bills of Lading, and Response Action Outcomes, etc); supervision of drilling, excavation, and emergency response crews for assessment and remedial projects; sampling and analyses of soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, air, and soil gas media; perform hydrogeologic investigations and data interpretation; preparation of site health and safety plans and site plans; disposal and recycling management of hazardous and non-hazardous materials; design, installation, operation, and maintenance of soil vapor extraction, air sparge, groundwater pump and treat, and bioremediation remedial systems; supervise underground storage tank closure assessments, and permitting for wastewater discharges.

HYDROGEOLOGIST/PROJECT MANAGER 1992 - 2004: Simmons Environmental Services, Inc., Salisbury, MA.  Prepared Phase I, II, III, IV, ASTM, bank, and UST closure reports and proposals for banks, attorneys, and in accordance with Massachusetts and New Hampshire regulatory requirements.  Supervised drilling, excavation, and emergency response crews for assessment and remediation projects. Supervised and performed sampling and analyses of soil, groundwater, air, and soil gas media.  Supervised and interpreted groundwater hydraulic conductivity investigations and data.  Prepared site health and safety plans and site plans.  Managed disposal or recycling of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.  Performed design, installation, operation, and maintenance of SVE, AS, groundwater pump and treat, and bioremediation remedial systems.

HYDROGEOLOGIST/PROJECT MANAGER 1998 - 1999: American Environmental Assessment Company, Farmingdale, NY.  Prepared and supervised Phase I, II, III site assessments and UST closure reports and proposals.  Supervised remediation of drywells.  Coordinated disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.

GEOLOGIST/(SURVEY INSTRUMENT OPERATOR, DRAFTSPERSON, SEPTIC SYSTEM DESIGNER, TECHNICAL REVIEW AGENT) 1988 - 1992.  Instrument operator for topographic and boundary surveys.  Draftsperson for topographic and boundary survey plans.  Design and draft plans for residential septic systems.
